We Missed You, Humans!
Goodness gracious! We’ve been so busy in 2020 that we totally forgot to update you, but we have BIG news!
We elves aren’t used to working so hard outside of Christmas-time, but you all bought thousands and thousands of rolls of Santa’s film and we had to deliver!
Throughout 2020, we figured out how to get the larger 120 film to you on top of the 35mm we’d been selling. The results? You all were very well-behaved, shooting your Santa film and taking care of yourselves during what we heard was a difficult time for you humans!
You all asked so nicely for the film that we decided to just sell you our big rolls, straight from Santa’s factory! That’s right, bulk Santa film is out there now! If you wish really hard, or click here, you can have a roll of your own delivered by Santa’s elves.
None of that is the BIG news though! Crazy, right? What a year for Santa! Don’t worry, we’ll still be able to build gifts for all the good boys and girls this Christmas.
The big news is that we found an old factory a few kilometers from our main one! It’s from the 80s, when Santa used to spend his summers surfing in Miami.
What was inside? Tools and chemicals for a second Santa film! By the time this is posted, Summer Santa will be on its way to good little boys and girls all over the world.
This one is 125 ISO, available in 35mm and 120, and will be quite nice for days when the sun is out. Santa misses his surfing days, but he’s glad to share the sun with all of you!
Write your name on our wishlist to be notified when we get more film in, or check with our Finnish friends to see if they have any in stock!
With Summer Love, Rae

Hello dear analog photography humans!
The year 2019 was a hectic one. There seems to be more children in the world every year, and less elves to keeping an eye on them.
Last year I helped smuggle out 1500 rolls of 35mm santa film for the humans to try, and yesterday I received a letter with great news.
All 1500 rolls were spread around the world and used by many well behaved photographers. I was so happy with the news, I asked the chief darkroom elves for more!
They said they had plenty more fresh 35mm film and even something bigger…
“Bigger than 35mm?” I asked.
“Why yes of course!” They said.
They had plenty of that too but said I couldn’t share it with the humans. That it wasn’t suitable for their cameras which need backing paper on that bigger film.
I was walking back to my toy workshop disappointed, and called my cousin in Grindelwald.
He suggested that if we could get used backing paper from the humans, maybe we could make the Santa Film in human 120 format. What a great idea that was! I ran back to ask the darkroom elves. THEY SAID YES! So now I just need to convince Santa.
I am pretty sure he will say yes too, if there is interest for a big enough batch of 1000 rolls. So here I am, writing a letter to you all, hoping that there is interest enough! Please add your name to the wishlist if you want Santa 1000 in 120!
Yours truly, Rae

Dearest Humans,
Our chief darkroom elf told me about a leftover bulk roll of our homemade black and white ISO 1000 film. It’s the film we use to check up on naughty and nice children here in the dark Nordic winters.
I thought it would be a nice gift for our human photographers to finally try this special film. I went to Santa himself and asked if I could share some.
"Have they been good this year?". He said. I was nervous without first having actually counted up the naughty vs nice photographers.
"Ye.. Yes. I believe they have been more encouraging to each other than any time in the last two decades."
“Ho-ho-ho!” laughed Santa and said "If you can get out 1000 rolls you can do it, otherwise it’s going back to the elves!"
So, on my next surveillance tour I dropped off a bunch of rolls for people to try. After Christmas we should see their first results. If the humans like it I can split the bulk roll into 1000 twenty-four exposure rolls.
So please, if you are interested in getting this film please leave your electronic correspondence address above and I will take it as a reservation of an order. I think someone knows I am on the computer, I must go.
All the best, Rae
